my mantra: cut. tear. sew. repeat.
finished one book.
working out ideas for sewn pages travel journal…
finished 2 more bookish creations for a total of 3. the only thing they have in common is they’ve got stitched pages, but the structures are all different.
here’s one:
the online class in my mind grows stronger.
looking forward to summer.
but not to saying goodbye to the children with whom i’ve spent the last 8 months.
see you soon!
Bring it on! Whatever name you choose/finds you 😉
Class class class! Yes, please!
your enthusiasm is fuel to my creative fire!
Love the pages and the sewing and look forward to hearing more about the class…..
Eeeek, a new class…yes please xxx
This looks like so dang much fun! I am inspired to finish that cloth book I started awhile back!!! Must check out your new class, I’m having a great time rediscovering my sewing machine as a art journaling tool and this would probably bump me up to another level.
i find once the machine is out i don’t want to put it away again!
I thought this post was going to be about the exercise version of ‘working out’. Phew! I’m not up for that though I should be….
Gawd! Just these litte peeks made my day! My thoughts of your online class grow stronger too!
oh goody!
I can’t wait to see the finished books. This looks REALLY fun!
if only the NAME would arrive on my doorstep like it did last time!
Just a thought – a sewing thought – I guess you probably know this, but just in case – you can add a walking foot/quilting foot to your machine, lower the feed dogs and do all kinds of patterns, swirls, feathers, circles, Eiffel towers, maps of Italy, etc.
Best to you
Nan
nan,
i did have one for my old machine, but always found it difficult to get the stitch length and tension correct when doing trying to do it on paper. if you move next door i’ll have you give me lessons!
