Your sewn journals are so much fun to look at….and to do I see. After paying $100 dollars for an overhaul/cleaning of my sewing machine the sewing machine man ordered me not to sew paper. He scared me. 🙂 Should I listen to him?

In an attempt to find order in my craft room, I occasionally pull out bags and boxes of STUFF I lovingly gather on trips, intending to use them some day. Of course, for most of those bits and pieces, some day never arrives. Well, after seeing your scraps sewn into pages of handmade books, I now have a reason to pull out those bags of snippets and pippets and see them with new eyes. Tickets stubs for bus rides, museum entrance, business cards, brochures, post cards, receipts, free newspapers….these are going to make fine materials for a unique scrapbook that will tell the story of my journey in its own way. Thanks for the inspiration and my craft room closet thanks you, too! 😉
