i rolled out of bed and rolled into my car. then speeded off to the park. the brothers johnson sang to me all the way. strawberry letter 23. rainbows & waterfalls ran through my mind.

orange birds and river cousins dressed in green.

and dance too.
if you want. i could.
pretty music i hear – so happy
And loud – blue flower echo
from a cherry cloud
feel sunshine sparkle pink and blue
i sketched some roses in the sunshine.
i drew some trees
i read a book.
i did all that.
today.
at the park.
day 1 of my 8 day vacation.
p.s. all pics taken with the iphone except the one of my rose sketch. as you can see the iphone 6 camera is excellent at close-up photos and not so great with faraway shots.
things start to get grainy…
I see that others beat me to e advice about focusing your shots. So I’ll just finish by saying I LOVE the rose sketch!
marianna & joan thanks for the iphone 6 photo-taking advice. i’m pretty sure it’s user error. mine! will try both of your tips. i didn’t know about the tapping the screen to focus for example. thanks!!!
I can’t tell if you are trying to zoom in on the distance shots with your iPhone 6, but if you are doing that with the ability of the pinch/pull on the screen, anything I ever try to zoom in on with my iPhone 5 doesn’t come out clear. It’s better if I shoot the distance shot and adjust in PhotoShop.

Great pics! I have an iPhone 6 and get great pics using it. Are you using the fine focus thingy? Tap the screen, wait a sec for the focus to work, snap the pix. Are you aware that you can use the up/down volume as the shutter? Makes it much easier than trying to tap that little dot on the screen. I believe it makes for a steadier hand for snapping the pic. I love that I have a camera always at the ready as well as a phone.
