next year we're extending our art retreat to 4 days. 3 isn't enough.
i need more time to flop around in the warm pool water. do handstands. sit in the jacuzzi. scan the sky for shooting stars.
go on excursions.
we found a row of antique/thrift shops. i agreed to go into one, AND ONLY ONE. i found 2 birds, 5 plates, and 2 glass jars.

how nice it was to go through stack after stack throughout the long weekend.

Sounds like a delightful time was had by all. You guys rock em sock em when it comes to having a good time. You are all truly lucky to have each other for your delightful but ever too short excursions into the world, journals at the ready, paint, good drinks, even better a pool one can jump into when ever one wants to. Yup, sounds like you need at least another day under yer belt to pull off an even grander time. I love hearing about these little jaunts Mary Ann. They make me smile and nod in agreement, it’s the kind of adventure I could sink my heart into, I’m all about hangin poolside and drinks and journals….especially the journals!!!! YES cheers to a good time!!!!!

What a wonderful artretreat, I wish a had some girlfriends in my life now to do that with. Years ago a friend and I had an artweek together every summer. We painted, wrote, filmed, draw, talked and laughed. We loved it, as I can see you do.
