rama lama ding dong! lookie what i found while i was jogging through the interwebs. a super fabulous place called THE AMAZINGS where you can learn crafty things from your elders!
i am totally thinking about taking the johnny cash pillow class. anyway, i bow down to the smarty pants who came up with this idea of having some elder peeps teach these little workshops. and…you get a free class for a friend when you enroll. what could be bettah? raises hand yells "I KNOW!" peeps with accents teaching the classes! that's what.
i found the amazings all aloney on my owny so this isn't any kind of sponsored endorsement. just wanted to share the good stuff!
in other news…
the comment thief continues to hound me. i just fished 12 of you out of the Spam Comments Department. i've written about this before, but if you blog, with typepad anyway, do periodically check your spam comments in the pulldown window. go through them, select the ones that are from your cute readers, then hit publish down at the bottom. when you are all finished publishing the real comments, click "delete all spam comments" up at the top to get rid of the spam.
here's a screen shot of the area i'm talking about:
i just went fishing so mine is currently set to 0.
some of you consistently wind up there. i don't know why because your comments are perfectly lovely and not at all spammy. i always rescue them all though, so eventually what you wrote will appear.

wow, that is so darn cool and such a great idea. Crafting and artwork that has withstood the passing of time and the richness that flows from those who are older than us is inspiring. Wonderful, thanks for letting us know about this. I need to bookmark the site right now, that bollywood rug looks like it would be fun to create and a great way to use stuff that no longer fits.

MaryAnn..so pleased you shared this. And is that the delightful Beryl ( here’s the link for your delight).www.beryltaylor.com I spotted in the vid?
And how quintessentially British and/or Irish to have a gorgeous sponge cake with tea! Makes me quite homesick may I say.
So glad you shared..thank you!

Every time one of my comments doesn’t appear, I kick myself around the block for being inappropriate. I usually think you’ve (rightfully so) edited me, thereby saving me from me. lols
