The 8 by 8 collage book is being sent off for coil binding. Oh, those Snow & Graham calenders do cause rhapsodic enjoyment to bloom in my heart!
I had enough to make a thick stack of postcards. Which I will enjoy digging into this weekend. Here are the pages all piled up. I like knowing underneath my collages there will be birds singing, flowers opening. Some things will peek through of course.
Enough calender means bookmarks for you know who. Everything will be used except the coil binding.
Everyone went wild over these tricked-up paper punches that were donated. I pulled them out yesterday for a round of punching experimentation. This necessitated a detour through downtown for several rounds of martinis after school. When we emerged from the elegant wood-paneled bar hours later the big city was all aglow with glassy light and reflection. Punctuating the beginning of a 2 day vacation.
The supplies that have been so kindly donated continue to spread creative wealth throughout the class. There is a tendency to want to put 1 of everything on each page. Mostly I let them. They'll eventually stop when they see the drought is gone for good.
Tomorrow I'll post their latest pages. So lively & rich!

aglow indeed.
I was not familiar w Snow & Graham designs – I recognize your header now. I have a tendency (hah!! – what a weenie way to say it) to hoard my calendars. I did use one for three dimensional paper stars as per your inspirations. Maybe I’ll actually – gasp – cut up more.
maybe

I donated my punches to my son’s 4th grade teacher after I taught journal classes there a few times. I don’t know if she wanted to hug me for doing it or smack me 😉
I know the feeling-LOL!!!!!
The little munchkins are so much fun to watch as the scissors and glue sticks fly!!!!!!!
