It's hot. Sizzling-baking-burning-drier-and-hotter-than-your- worst-nightmare-about-hell hot. That's some kinda hot. Lucky for me Suede Buttons doesn't mind the heat one bit. Nope she doesn't. Will you just look at that big suntan bloom that opened yesterday morning.
Air condition is doing the job autumn should be doing. I'm humming away doing this and that. Happy as a drunk clam. I'm on vacation and we get a brand new president in 7 days! There's no containing this excitement. No chance.
More fooling around in my security envelope journal. I'm liking the fun looseness of this.
I think I'll make another one when this one runs out in a few days. Can't help thinking what a good little travel journal this could be.
I'm enjoying using up scraps of things I don't usually use, things that have been laying around for awhile.
It's cocktail hour here at Moss Cottage! How does a dutch harvest martini made with freshly pressed apple cider sound? I'll grab the ice, martini shaker, and cranberry juice if you grab the peach schnapps, cider, and vodka. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I’ll be over at 5:00…..make that 4:30. I wish. Hot here today too. We’ve had frost numerous nights but back up to 80 today. Have already blown out the sprinkler. It will snow on Friday. Mark my words. Ever since I was a kid every Halloween out come the snow suits over the costumes. Sheesh! Love the journal. Loose is good. Deep listening, even better. You are INsane! I love love it! Are these all Shephard Fairey Obama posters? They are so beautiful. Since you are saying the journal runs out in a few days, I’m guessing it is a single signature? Did you stick the flotsam on top of big paper to sew? It is way way wonderful (like its mom).
