With no one here to pull the emergency brake my font machine is is spinning wildly out of control.
Oh. Did I say I was finished? Uh uh. Nope. I spied with my little eye about 18 more signs on my way downtown this morning that need my immediate attention. And tomorrow on the drive home, I'm going to give it to them.

“…all we have ARE new signs”…didn’t want you to think me illiterate! Whew, grammar goes right out the window late at night!

Oh my, the fonts of tinseltown. You are a lucky dog to have these kinds of eye candy around you. Here in swampy SW Florida all we have is NEW signs, nothing remotely interesting and cruddy looking. Sigh. Seems to me you have the perfect weather too, aside from that nasty smog. Your blog is an inspiration to those of us from less charismatic cities! And your journal pages are groovy baby…if only I could get started on mine!

Wow, so many signs. Love it. And 73 degrees? I’m so jealous.

Beautiful blog. And Angle of Repose and Crossing to Safety are two of my favorite books.
Have you seen Lisa Vollrath’s website? You may be interested in her work.
You allow me to visit the LA of my past. I miss it sometimes and your blog takes me back.

Oh a gal after my own heart. I, too, am drawn, magnetized, stuck on typography. You have paid great homage to type her, MA.

I grew up in SoCal. I’ve actually seen the ‘Jesus Saves’ sign on the mission! Love it, keep up the good work!
