Meager offerings tonight. One photo taken on my new route home across the Spring Street Bridge. More are coming.
A mosaic of faux mail from Flickr. Lovely I thought. And reminiscent of Nick Bantock.

I await my letter just like this to arrive next week by carrier pigeon. Inside a round trip ticket on The Orient Express. Naturally, some time travel will have to take place.
A graffiti fragment along my route.
Wyatt and Knitty Kitty go down for a nap. Who says tough cats don’t like babydolls?
Are you sure you don’t want to install the free Sitemeter widget? The country pie chart is endlessly entertaining. Hello Latvia, my love. Fancy meeting you here!

3. ok – now the faux mailart mosaic – love that too – and as per Nick – my love – we were scheduled to meet for a week in Rhinebeck NY (for a workshop… well – I could have teased a bit… but…) BUT our customs uniformed folks turned him away at the border… paperwork… homeland security… well I own every book he ever published – Nick… alas – and yes – reminiscent…

Yum, I’m swooning over the mail eye candy. And Latvia indeed (showing my ignorance). I don’t think I could find it on a map. Well done!

I like the idea of changing the route I take to work. I need some new visual stimuli. That mail art, god D**M! I really want to be that good. Nick Bantock is a huge persona in my personal book of deities … Griffin & Sabine hooked me when it first came out and I’ve never stopped adoring that series, probably because it involves not only art but WORDS! Have you read any of Barbara Hodgson? (I think that’s the right spelling) … she’s along the same lines as Nick. I’ve got all her stuff, too. i.e. The Tattooed Map.

Lovely pie chart! I visit every day from France. Can it be that I’m all alone here?
That bridge is amazing. And the tantalising glimpse of countryside behind.
