Just popping in here to let you know that I’m nearly done with the OMG 2022 update videos. I posted over on the class blog HERE about it. If you’re a current class member just sign in, then click on 2022 in the upper menu bar. That’s where the videos will appear. I’ll post them one by one as I finish editing them. I expect they’ll all be in place by July 1st as I’m working full-time here at Moss Cottage getting them ready, with the help of Otto & Iris of course! Here is some of what I posted over there:
Gouache is my true love and I’ve consistently used it over the last 6-7 years in a relaxed way in my sketchbooks. It’s possible that I will add more updates next summer too and this class and content will continue to grow. We’ll see. For now, I’ll be adding 5-6 videos for 2022. These will include updates on my palette, sketchbook work, and a few casual painting videos that give you a good idea of how I presently work with gouache & matte acrylic. Keep in mind that I’m no expert and there’s a lot that I don’t know. What I DO know is that I love gouache and I love maintaining an ongoing creative practice in my life.
Think of these updates as bonus content. I’m not active on the OMG class blog anymore and may not see if you post a comment or question. All of this content is offered in an archived state and the price reflects that. I’m also not active on the Facebook group anymore. The best way to keep in touch is right here on DFLA.
You’ll also find info about the 3 ZOOMS I’ve scheduled under the 2022 tab in the menu bar over at OMG.
Part of this update will include 2-3 live ZOOMS that will last approximately an hour. I’ve scheduled these for weekends @ 10 a.m. PST. They won’t be recorded as that adds a layer of complexity. Like everything else in life, they’re impermanent. And since they aren’t being recorded, we can be more free to be ourselves and just play. These sessions will not be instructional, they’ll be strictly play. If you wish to attend, the dates are as follows and the links will be on the OMG class blog.

Mary Ann, I’m pretty sure I purchased the OMG class years ago, and would love to update/rejoin at this time. I’m sure y0u have posted instructions to do this, I can’t find anything right now. Smoke signal please if you would. I can’t locate any of my previous information. Moved 2,000 miles across the country & am still trying to find & unpack my art stuff. Reading your posts…Otto & Iris are just beautiful kit kats. So sorry about Wyatt, always loved seeing him.
Really looking forward to this! I’ve been loving the class and bought five tubes of the Schminke and am in love with it as well as the gouache palette set up for when I am on the go.
