i’ve been missing in action, but i am back! finally this week some time to catch my breath. slowly peruse my new book (right). the cover is padded and glimmers like satin.
and there are stickers in the back. stickers!
i set about to affixing as many as would fit on the cover of my latest writing journal.
i very much relate to and admire this naive style of painting. nathale lete is masterful. i am in awe.
i’m desperate for inspiration, having spent these last weeks engrossed in school life with my 30 charges.
now i have a week to sit still or walk or read. explore. paint rabbits or teddy bears. drink coffee. sleep late. take naps. blog!

arlene that is my favored style of writing journal these last 3 journals. it’s a large clairefontaine cloth-bound notebook. the paper is smooth and a joy to write on…
i love this book… i think a pocket version would be great. you know, so you could take it with you everywhere, and when your spirits were flagging you could open it up and be renewed again. just like that.
