hello gentle readers.
i am basking in the blue green views of sea & hills.
once again i found something at the very last minute and it’s turned out good.
i am way up here in the forested canyon ridges by the botanic garden.
i got settled in yesterday afternoon. then spent an hour staring up at the gauzy cloud layers passing in opposite directions overhead.
the air is cool.
the sun is warm.
a new hilltop neighborhood to explore on foot. there is an easy loop road i can meander down. or i can just piddle here on the property.
syd & mary are on their way over for some art play.
all the usual things are here calling to me. shells, shore birds, narrow roads that climb and fall. birds. flowers. books. a river of coffee. a few lazy days stretching out in front of me.
be well wherever you are, whatever you’re doing. i’ll just be here. piddling.

You find such great places to piddle. We call the porch the fritter-a place to fritter away time. It is related to piddle. First cousin I think. Enjoy!

I don’t comment very often, but do check in on your blog every day so I don’t miss anything. It’s such a pleasure to follow you on your jaunts & peek in on your art work. All lovely, calming and inspiring. Thanks for sharing the beauty while all the crazy stuff swirls around us.

That is an Ohhhhh and Ahhhhh property. Love those views. And the succulents. I am sure you know that to propagate succulents you just need to steal one leafy thing. I bet you take samples and label where they are from when you plant them, just like you do with the water samples:) I love that red tipped spinyhercuverachia, or whatever it is. Happy Easter from the bunny.

How wonderful! In between sorting and packing, I’ll be piddling by the pond and a bit at the art table. And as Mrs. Bennet said to her daughter Lydia, “Take every opportunity to enjoy yourself!”
