Smiling ear to ear as I look at your pages…your painting of Ingrid is beautiful. And those cherries and the carved bird – love, love. I always do an “unforgettable” list in my travel journals, too. Thank you, as always, for sharing your art and life and trips.

I love your use of the stamps n the cover and throughout the book! Stamps are such wonderful tiny artistic gems that speak of the culture of the place!

OMG!! Mary Ann!! I don’t have words to tell you how very very very much I LOVE this journal!!! I especially love the painting you did of Ingrid (although I’m sorry she was sick ….) And I love the quotes so very much!! … and the stamps … and well, everything about it!! You are so amazingly creative!!

This is my favorite journal ! Your drawing and painting have improved so much since you began, but they retain enough quirkiness to still be yours. The quotes you included are great. High marks! High indeed!!

Love your painting, love all those Swedish stamps and the ways you’ve included them, love all the papers and photos and cards……………….
Very nice. 🙂

Now that’s a travel journal! I almost feel like I was with you! Your art captured the essence of what you saw and your notes about what you did created images in my mind. What great stamps you have included, too! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journal.

Wow do I ever love your journal – the description of who you are and not having to travel far to find the magic in ordinary life speaks to me. So does believing in the perfection of imperfection. Terrific Mary Ann.

isn’t that quote (in pink) lovely? i cobbled it together from the “our philosophy” page of “fine little day”
we went into a store in stockholm that carried a lot of that swedish artist’s work…

So many good, good, moments were captured on your adventure. I’m tickled pink at all your journal pages. And gotta love those adorable stamps, kittens, wee bunnies that grace a page. I’m smitten. Love that quote about loving wobbly lines… YES to all of that. Thanks for the page peeks Mary Ann. You are the best!!!!
