descanso gardens is a crocheted & knitted wonderland right now!
and the white sage is blooming…
the scented leaves are a favorite of mine.
the petals have fallen off the poppies and the pods look like blue globes.
with tiny pools of water on top.
in the classroom we drew birds.
i had a morrison’s mule with my wonderful aide and another teacher this week.
i finished the binding video for the OMG! sketchbook.
and painted some gouache cats in my black sketchbook in between making videos for class. my new editing software makes creating these little 1 minute videos a breeze. and since the camera is already set up for shooting the class videos…
it’s going to be a whirlwind right up until june 10 when class begins. the class blog is hopping with introductions and photos. thanks to everyone who posted their mugshots and chimed in. i love reading the comments and seeing your faces so much!
just wanted to send out a smoke signal and let you know i’m here working away, but playing too! hope you’re well and planning big things for summer. sunflower patches, long journeys across the water, maybe a trip on the orient express. stuff like that.

Hail to the knit wits who pillaged that garden. Wow. Love the photos, especially the magic poppy pool. The birds have a sort of James Thurber vibe going on. And gouache cats on black…..inevitable.

Fun video MAM, love the embroidery stitching designs you are using to embellish your page.
I am curious and now wondering what new video software you are using?
