there’s a #2015bestnine going around on IG. but turns out the pics viewers like the most are not my favs. so i made a mosaic of my favs from 2015. turns out making 9 square mosaics is fun – no apps here, i just did it the “old-fashioned” way in PS.
i’m going to be highlighting more of my 2015 sketchbooks here in the coming days. it’s fun to see everything together like this.
happy monday friends. see you soon!

Those PEACHES! Woot! Woot! I know what you mean about your favs not necessarily matching up with other’s favs. Funny how that works. I am currently going back over Sketchbookery. Man I love that class! I have yet to bind a book. I have the covers ready and the binding, string, needle and everything ready. Now I need to go Nike on it. Just DO it! I seem to have some kind of block over the whole thing. I wish I had your fearlessness, MAM. I know, I know…it’s not that big a deal. I will lecture myself FOR you, hehehe. I am still painting with gouache. Boy, that’s a WHOLE ‘nother learned skill. I keep forgetting it is like watercolor and you actually mix water with it. The way I have been using it I could use a dang putty knife. Oy. I shall conquer the gouache! Maybe I need a class in it. Maybe you should teach it:). Or, if you have already done a class on it, perhaps you could refer me to it:) bThanks for the artistic flashback, Mary Ann. Always a delight.

Listen Karen, if I can bind a book with the MAM method, you can do it, too! Just take it one step at a time, and I promise you will be making more than just the one 🙂 It is sort of addicting, to tell the truth <3

Those tomatoes (in the center) grabbed onto me and won’t let go! Of course, if they’re not tomatoes, I’ll just leave the room quietly.

Oh I love your choices. I spent yesterday re-watching ROD. I will miss those videos and your sense of humor. But since I am snowed in I will paint in my Sketchbookery. Yay
