sister & i had great fun car, cafe, and house sketching on our roadtrip through california.
as much as i love creating & viewing the visual journal pages of myself & others, the pure joy of creating pictures with a pen or paint brush appeals to my giggly inner child slash mad scientist creator.
let’s make people. let’s build trees with a paint brush.
i’m going to make those people hold hands. look the lady’s skirt is falling down. the man doesn’t have feet.
wheeeeeeeeee!
someone’s sad. someone else has clown lips.
and so forth.
in other news moss cottage is getting some freshly painted exterior trim from tippy top to bottom. in one of these colors:
i’ll give you a hint. it’s not white or tan.
my formerly purple patio/courtyard door is going to also get a makeover in one of these colors:
i’ll give you another hint. it’s not grey, brown, tan, or yellow.

Oooooootra vez ? Always you inspire me !
Mary Ann Moss says

Your posts make me yearn for a road trip with my sis. We’re hoping for next summer. Don’t ya just love the names of the paint colors. That would be a fun job – naming paint colors.
