I see. I thought you used the whole book and altered it. It will make a yummy journal cover. Since this is a board book will you be able to use the inner pages/boards as book covers for other journals? They are so nice and would be lovely.

i don’t usually paint over or alter my bookcovers. i use as is. to me the purpose of recycling an old book that’s gathering dust is to celebrate the lovlieness of its covers…which i’ll get to look at and admire everytime i open this travel journal. which. will be. a lot!

Oooo, that looks like a very cool book. Do you ever have trouble painting over and altering an interesting book like that? I have to chose one that I like the shape, size and paper but hate the text/pictures before I can “deface” it. I guess I love books too much.
