let there be rain! and rain orbs and rain chandeliers and frosty rain spritz covering every leaf on every plant in every garden in this dry dry dry city.
i love it when my orders are followed to the letter. or should i say drop, to the drop.
i slipped out of the house early to make sure each petal & leaf received their fair share of precious water.
now i’m slipping back in to bask beside a steady stream of coffee & books & paint.
it is sunday and i am here.
rejoicing.

Is there any better way to spend a Sunday? Also, that 2nd plant is spectacular!

Praise be for rain! Maryland has had a good bit this spring but not so much that it floods. It’s cool enough (chilly i.e.) so that our spring flowers are flowering and not burning up.
btw, do you have a countdown calendar to mark the days left til sabbatical?

Perfect pictures. Wishing you the rain you need. We get more than our fair share in our part of the world. Wish I could share some with you.

we received some much needed rain too these last 2 days – TYG !!!
now that I have the opportunity – how do you grow such LUSHIOUS succulents ?? I need to transplant my 6 little ones to their “real” pots (they’ve been in their plastic store pots for 6 months) and I’m terrified in losing one : ( any idea(s) ??? or are you one of those gifted (besides your art) people that just sticks them wherever and they grow ??? NOT ME !!!!
Blessings and happy SUNDAY – Sandra in AZ where the cats eat birds and the sun ALWAYS shines : )

Oh My Gosh. What stunning photos of the garden. Wish mine looked like that. In the high desert nothing is so lush. I’d be rejoicing too if that view was just outside my door. Carry on with the pics and drawings and more.
