MARY ANN MOSS
Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.

I am at work here on the Southeast Coast where the weather is lovely and 5pm is coming quickly now on a Friday! I look forward to the freshing breather I get to take when your blog email hits my mailbox–usually in the middle of the afternoon like now. Such a great, colorful respite from the drudgery of work in the afternoons. 🙂 Tonight and this weekend I will be taking photos for a local fashion show and binding another watercolor paper journal for myself–the first went to a silent auction (my first ever public submittal of my work for scrutiny and valuation by the masses)!! Enjoy your weekend, Mary Ann!

I love your tomatoes, they remind me of Maira Kalman’s stuff.
I’ve been playing with plastic bag mono prints, a really fun thing I found on Alisa Burke’s blog.

Cleaning out 35 years of accumulation in my kitchen cupboards. Tomorrow my set of pens arrives and I will take a day off to play in my journal. Hooray! Love your blog. Such fun to see what you’re up to.

I am painting and painting. Wet on wet watercolor. Bright colors. A friends kids me all the time that I am compelled to use all of the colors in my box. Pretty much sums it up. I will try to share from my artist page, but now sure that it will let me. Some things elude me. Yesterday, it was raining heavily, so I enjoyed spattering paint…I work from watercolor blocks to my journals.

What am I doing? What are YOU doing leaving the V out of the alphabet, Miss Teacher? Huh? (love the bird)

I love that font. I might start practising drawing fonts. Right Now though I coffee dye anything and everything. And make one journal after another. And working a bit on my new blog. I guess I sould wash the floor. But It’s not like the dirt is going anywhere.

You aren’t afraid of color, that’s for sure! Love these pages. The gray looks really good with your pink/orange alphabet. Spent hours today helping my mom plant trees. 50s and sunny!
