Sweden: perfection! Did you know they have an entire aisle in their grocery stores dedicated to BULK CANDY?! And can we just adopt the fika tradition here–everyone needs a waffle with jam & tea at some point in the afternoon, right? Oh, wanderlust…
Jane Bumar says
Oh, I DO want to hear much, much more about Sweden!! And gouache, and succulents.

I really admire how you got the cactus pot to look shiny! I’m having troubles working with gouache but still trying. Practice, practice, practice – I do need.
Thanks for sharing!

Is Sweden the destination this summer? I’d love to visit ALL the Scandinavian countries and eat fish while sightseeing.
But I’m land locked here so will have to enjoy adventuring from my visits to your blog where you drag us along on your adventures.
I could move right into that darling little inn…right up my street, I tell you.

The gouache bug must be going around, I’ve caught it too! So juicy, so colorful, so opaque, what’s not to love!?
Kristi Shreenan says
You don’t need to “practice on your cactus”: perfection abounds! I am giddy that you are thinking of going to this place in Sweden as I live vicariously through you and love to see the art and photos that come back to us as souvenirs! Happy trip planning….I hope!
