yesterday i finished the oscar live action shorts that are nominated. my favorite was a short film, booglaloo & graham, about 2 young irish lads who get chickens for pets. dee. light. ful. but AYA the israeli selection is also wonderful and blessedly different. HERE are more…swiss short, parveneh was lovely and riveting. the phone call...so good!
they're all good. so glad i watched. i rarely see the shorts. now i want to catch all the animated shorts and more of the live action shorts from the year. I found the action shorts for 2015 on amazon for under 6 buckeroos. as for full-length feature nominees i am currently deep into the theory of everything.
in between laughing, dabbing my eyes, and sitting in front of the tv screen, i'm drawing fruit. which now i will color. pam showed her fruit HERE (scroll down) and i got all excited and decided to draw some of my own. she literally never stops making. never. ever.

Your fruits are pretty dang sweet Mary Ann and all that jaw dropping color. If the three of you (you, Carol and Pam) were to be up for an oscar of your very own, for directing, producing, writing, and editing and everything in-between I think I’d be hard pressed to choose a winner…so I’ll just say that the Oscars go to all three of you…you each get your very own little gold guy….;)

Just watched “The Theory of Everything” last night with the hubby. I thought it was amazing and I am rooting for it to win Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Actress!!! Loved it!
