Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.

Bleu myosotis sounds like a fantasy. Picking oranges off the trees and having a juicy breakfast here in FL. Then painting the fruity bounty, of course!

Hey Sweet Miss Moss, I’d be happy to send you some snow from the northern mid section of the country however we don’t have any, just a bit of crusty, packed, frozen, very not pretty stuff that used to be ‘snow’. I’d would have loved just a wee bit that snow the eastern end got and I’m guessing there are quite a few folks would have been happy as clams if MA nature would have shared the bounty and spread it out a little more evenly…anyway…no snow to share but wishing you happy thoughts, a glorious weekend, and extreme pleasures in whatever shenanigans you find yourself engaged in. 🙂

Well, I have almost made it through another cold January. It’s been below freezing quite a bit here, though, not as much snow as last year. I just took the dog out one more time before bed. It’s a beautiful night. The moon is bright and the smell of wood smoke fills the crisp night air. I usually look at your blog before I go to bed, so I saw your request for snow. I would send you some, if I could. Your steadfast personality, radiating through your posts, makes me feel that all is well, which is very comforting to think about before sleeping. Sometimes a long cold winter can make a person feel a little lonely inside, so, thanks for posting such consistently stable, charming thoughts.

Spain?! Bananas?! Puh-leeze! Mary Ann, you just had to mention snow, didn’t ya?

Here in the Intermountain West, we’re enjoying very unseasonable weather: 10 degrees above normal. I’ll take it. A few days ago it was 73F, the warmest winter I recall since moving here 37 years ago.
I want not part of snow except what I can see from my window looking at the mountains to the west. I lived 4 years in MI, that cured me, no weather that comes with a shovel attached. Done!

If I can figure out how to box this snow and get it through the US mail without melting I will send you a big box! Or 2 big boxes. Or even 100 if you want them. We have another 12-15 inches arriving within the next week if the weatherman has any clue what he is talking about so I will work on that mailing thing because there will be plenty more to make it wintery from the sound of it.

You, my dear, may have my entire backyard FULL of snow……ugh…I am so ready for Spring.
It is said that the Inuit have 200 names for the different types of snow. The most recent snow here is NOT appropriate
for snowballs or throwing…its too soft and fly-away. However,
NY being NY, if you will please wait just a few hours, I’m sure it will snow again & I can toss a few good ones out your way ;(((.
Peace and hugs,
girlie

Getting ready to make some more travel journals, thanks to your classes. I couldn’t have done it without your clear instructions and guidance. You made it look easy—and it is (sort of)! Thank you.
