backpack sketchbook by miguel herranz
probably my favorite. i could stare at his people for a long long time. maybe when i'm watching the news i'll find some suitable characters to flesh out in my sketchbook. we'll just see about that.

I’m a sketchbook looking junkie….it’s actually an addiction. Check out Pintrest, watercolor sketchbooks.
Watching a DVD movie or TV show where you can stop the action is a great way to sketch people.

Are you familiar with the work of Florent Chavouet? This(Canadian?) artist stayed in Tokyo for 6 months, and he sketched his neighborhoods. With a sharp eye and a lot of humor
The book is called Tokyo on foot. Highly recommended.
