i've been on a netflix streaming binge. specifically a PARIS netflix binge. le weekend
so good!
mr. morgan's last love simply fabulous:
they are both in equal measure charming & delightful.
i also watched just a sigh but i confess i thought it was a bit on the idiotic side.
thanks for the suggestions. I just watched le weekend last night and found it delightful. Missing Paris … hope to return next year.
Midnight in Paris – definitely a fave, but I’ll have to check these out too. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions MsM.
Smiling wistfully at Karen’s “I just found out that I’m headed to Paris in November.” I will probably be under the knee needle in November. Chacun a son gout…sortof.
Lovely sweet trailers. It is terrific to see Lindsay Duncan laughing and being light and silly. She is so effective at serious or villainous characters that it is indeed uplifting to see her so smiley.
Thanks for the suggestions! I just found out that I’m headed to Paris in November. I’ll have to watch these to get prepared. Also, I’m going to search your blog for travel journal suggestions and ideas!
I wanna go! I just added both of these my list. Thank you for sharing!
I have Netflix streaming and it tells me Mr Morgan’s Last Love is not available. I only have streaming with Netflix–do you have a different plan?
Both these movies look fabulous, I’ll have to look for them. Thanks for the Paris visit. As Lindsay Duncan’s character says, “who would want to live anywhere else?”
you have to watch ‘l’amour’, spectacular beautifully moving little french film.. see trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7D-Y3T0XFA
‘Midnight in Paris’ is my favorite. I had a whole new respect for Owen Wilson after seeing this movie for the first time.
I’m gonna watch em both tonight I think…I’m itchin’ for a good movie and everyone else has called it a night….I’m a hopeless night owl and these beat reruns…handsdown…
Please tell me you have already seen this? http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/my-afternoons-with-marguerite It is so delightful and I think it would it right in when you are homesick again for Paris. Love your blog – thanks for sharing all of your gifts. xo
