My two little adorable chickies have finally laid enough tiny eggs to make an omelette for me and doggie and to trade for produce from my neighbors garden. Before that, been sippin’ a delicious latte and sketching. Watering the front garden and sketching. Planning my front porch addition and sketching… Ain’t life grand?

I’ve been to the “One Direction” concert 2 nights in a row with my 14 yr old daughter and her friends!!! It’s been a blast watching their crazy joy which I recall so easily from my teen years. Music does the heart and soul good. I’ve also been trying to squeeze in some artwork, reading and knitting. Oh…and I follow this wicked good blog called “Dispatch from LA.” You guys should really check it out!

Ah, smoooooothieeeeessssssss….sounds so good! Chore day for me, too. Feels good to have checked a couple of dreaded ones off the ‘to do’ list. Enjoying a smashingly wondrous late afternoon at the cabin. Anticipating chicken satay with peanut sauce for supper. Then a couple of art books, my visual journal, John’s journal to work in (a round robin journal group) and maybe some time on the deck, star gazing. The weekend stretches out in front of me with possibilities. You have to love possibilities! I know YOU do!
Happiness to you, sweet MA.
XO

Waiting to dive into some salsa fresca for lunch. Have some loads of laundry in various states of progress. Broke a wine glass while doing the dishes. In vital news all the firewood is split and stacked for the upcoming season.
