some of our art retreat journal pages. first some of pam’s. i am head over heels in love with her furniture sketches. her perspective is very good i think. see that chair and ottoman with the green wall background? i’m the new owner of that chair. bought from the owner when he came to check us out on friday. that was MY chair the whole time and i practically purred everytime i sat in it. so comfortable!
while we were playing we’d pop out of our chairs every now and then to see what the other one was doing. i don’t know if all women scream when they get together but we sure do. squeal is more like it.
see that rectangular hole in the page? pam cut it out after i said, “cut that out and give it to me NOW.” how was i to know she’d actually do it? on our way out the door to go home i should have said, “give me that entire journal,” huh? didn’t think of it till just now.
look! one of my new chair legs is on the wall. and the ottoman is hydraulic and moves up and down with a remote. here the left side was in the up position. i just draw what i see!
more of my pages:
this is the inside cover of my new giant sketchbook/visual journal. i glued down a henrik drescher childrens’ book page and also the pomegranates are from an old rifle paper calendar. also my paint palette from PS.
awwwwwww….kitter pants!

I for one would never, ever throw your journal in a lake if I was lucky enough to find it. No way, no how.

This is one of the many many reasons I admire your work; you do it with friends and with yourself.
*ha ha – my first typo here said “Art Daves” – wonder who that is.

Love your journal pages, so right and cheerful. Your new chair is to die for, isn’t it great that the leg can go on the wall any time it wants. Cats will love it. Fun with a friend is good for the soul. Enjoy. Peggy

Forgot to ask: Love the new banner…where is this, yes, I know it’s L.A., but where? Looks like the 1940’s from the look of the cars…

What fun pages for both of you. Your comments make me laugh. Have a squeal, squeak, shriek fest is the best! Love it when the cheeks ache and you’re gasping for breath.
Kittert Pants! Love ’em. Reminds me of my beloved departed Kitterpie, the cat of heart.

Not as many people, and definitely fancier digs, but very like my art journaling group’s retreats! Especially the squealing…
Thanks for sharing!
