boating accidents. they happen. fingers go missing. sometimes too much pain medication gets taken. that's just how it is.
here's what i learned this week: slow the bleep down.
here's the digital version below that i did using my wacom tablet.
i thought tracing over the photo would be good practice. it was!
but the boating accident still happened.
whaddayagonnadooo?
Your are priceless….mwah!
OMG those hands are hilarious and I can tell you EXACTLY where you’re going wrong. You’re brain is taking over your vision/hand and telling them what they should be seeing instead of what they’re really seeing. The solution is v. v. simple, my dear. You’re going to want to fly to Albuquerque just cook my oatmeal for me just to say “thank you” when you try what I have to tell you.
Draw your next three sets (at least) like this: Put the image you’re copying upside down and draw it just like you see it. Your little brain will relax and you’ll magically rely on eye hand coordination only.
Voila! Plastic surgery magic happens to all appendages.
Not YOUR boating accident I hope!
I’m lovin’ the sketches…You had me goin’ there for a second Miss Moss, I read that last line and ‘MI like whoa…Mary Ann was in a boating accident???!!!!! Where When HOW???????….but then I managed to wrangle my heart back into my chest and looked closer at the sketches….SIGH of RELIEF that could be heard round the world….DD picked up a Bamboo tablet and I need to install the software and do some playin on it…on my to do list. Very pleased you’ve got all your ‘diggit’s accounted for. VBG
Hands! Hard! All those fingers and knuckles and stuff. I did a baby hand this week. Not so good. But, ladies, we are all getting better. Vicki and I have decided that our should be a Sketch Skirmish. Didn’t want sister Vicki to take the word WAR too seriously. She can be a real competitor! (and I am a wus) (had to type that 6 times before spellcheck would let it go. Now tHERE is a competitor!!)
Sister!
This week let’s not do any people with hands on their faces. OK?
Is the sketch on the right “the Hoff?” Fabulous…missing fingers and all!
