Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.

Aaaah, your stories and photos carry me away! thanks for the fabulous trip to Mexico, I will add this town to the places I want to visit, most of which are inspired by your travels! (Budapest, Istanbul, Paris…)

I’ve been reading your trip posts, they have left me awestruck and speechless! I’m still breathing deep the scent of the pine needle floors. You take us such wonderful places Mary Ann…Each is amazing and at the time, each is my favorite so far. This one is truly my favorite, so far! REALLY

AAAAGGGRRRR, I should have gone with you…. Look at all those marvels that you are seeing. Darn it…. The statues of the holy people are wonderful. I love how they have real clothes in Mexico for those. I wonder if they are polychromered wood… (spelling? I’m flemish, so don’t shoot me for a spelling mistake)

I meant to write “friends” — although I will be fried after I finish with them.

Just had to interrupt my orgy with 72% Cacao and 100% Central Coast Cab (my two best frieds), to let you know that I think your photos and commentary have been so enjoyable; I keep coming back twice a day for a fix! Very interesting looking religious figures, although quite frankly I find them a bit waxy looking, but that just may be your failure to adjust the aperature, run the shots through your ipad — bet there is an app for FWDLF (fixing waxy dead looking figurines). Beautiful beyond words Mary Ann. These are quite powerful when considering where and when you captured them.
