You brought back many happy memories for me..The Chamula church is definitely the most interesting place, I think they are still not allowing any photo inside. During the time I visited (10 years ago) it was a great meeting place for the local shamans with a name church on it. I remember watching amazing rituals there..

Why chickens? Just thinking aloud but why chickens and not rabbits or ducks etc? Always wondered that.
