La duena just sent over my amazing & savory Christmas Eve dinner. Talk about first class service. I feel like a queen! The pine carpet & nacimiento and now gourmet grub. Completely fabulous! When I rented the casita I never expected this kind of treatment. I am very touched by such kindness. sigh.
I have no idea what I just ate, remember this is the person who thought duck was pork tenderlin in Budapest. Let’s just call it heaven on a plate.
It’s Christmas Eve! The fireworks have started. I’m brewing some rich Chiapas coffee, lighting a fire and will be journaling, blogging, and reading until the wee hours.
I went somewhere special today {inadvertently} and will be writing about that later tonight and posting. Girl reporter is happily on duty and enjoying every minute of it!
Merry Christmas Eve from San Cristobal de Las Casas to wherever in this big wide world you happen to be!
