We don’t do Thanksgiving here – which must seem very strange to you, Mary Ann. It’s all a mystery, although reading Laura Ingalls Wilder when I was small helped a bit. I know about the pumpkin pies and the turkey but it’s the real ambience that I’d love to experience. I can only guess that it’s like Christmas but more so.
It’s nice to know you had a happy day. xoxoxoxox

Happy Black Friday! I hope you weren’t in the Walmart with the pepper-spraying Ninja shopper. Geez, holidays in the US keep getting stranger and stranger. What a perverse way to celebrate the kindness of Native Americans: go shopping with weapons the day after Thanksgiving. I am thankful for many things, but especially MAM and your contagious creativity. Keep inspiring us and I am counting the days until you put together another class for all your aged craft monkeys in cyberland.
Thanksgiving completed…food in my tummy with more tonight. Feeling tired and lazy with grey drizzley weather. A weekend of puttering is just what I intend to do…no rat races for me. Calm! Your Budapest mug is beautiful.
Thankful greetings to you from the tiny being that gets to go along with you on your travels, the one who gets to ride the lovely waves of you inspiring life.
With love and gratitude, e.w.
Gobble Gobble Gobble and all that jazz. Thank you sweet soul for gracing us with your delightful adventures, honesty, fun loving and playfulness and most of all for just being you. I’m honored to be a small part of your vast network of friends. Huggers

Happy, happy back at you! Thank You for your generous spirit … be it sharing your pages, your travels, your home or your book reviews. Your blog is one of my favorite, as are you.
Had the same kind of day. Lots of puttering around, big pot of soup and take out later in the day. Perfect!
I had such a lovely TG w my pup posse. They were thankful for the mini TG dinner snack made of a spoonful of everything. 😀 I too celebrated solo and was so happy. Thank you, Mary Ann for my vicarious travels this year and I look forward to where you travel in 2012! Kisses from Texas!

Somehow I knew it was a Prague cup… or that is how it popped up in my head before I read your words. I love how your pages mix and match and still manage to not look overcrowded. It’s a special gift you have…

Yo, Mary Ann! Happy to hear you’re enjoying Thanksgiving. Smiled big when I saw those beautiful words ‘Thanksgiving Take-Out’- once again, living large and wise. Thank you, friend. It’s been a joy to be a part of your delightful world.

Happy thanksgiving! How I’d love to pop in on Moss Cottage this evening while making the Thanksgiving Rounds, I guess i sorta am. What a beautiful mug, so unique and interesting. What charm! Have a wonderful day!
Happy Thanksgiving from north of the border, where we had our turkey day about six weeks ago (even the leftovers are long gone by now!) I am headed to St. Augustine, Florida tomorrow to do a week of slow travel Mary Ann Moss style, journaling and adventuring with two of my fellow members of the Toronto chapter of the ROD Craft Monkeys. I am very grateful for you, Ms. Moss, your talent and generosity and general enthusiasm for life are so inspiring to me, and I am so glad to be a part of this wonderful online community you have gathered together.
Spending my day tucked in at Rose Cottage in Fortuna, along with The Beeg. I can’t remember a better Thanksgiving. I’m filled with gratitude for everything in my life, including you, Mary Ann!

Happy Thanksgiving, Mary Ann! I’m thankful that you travel to so many exciting places and let us tag along….because that’s probably the only way I’ll ever see those places until they get the bridge built (I don’t fly!) Today it’s just me and HB and we’re happy to be puttering around too.

Hapypy Thanksgiving Mary Ann! Just like Nancy mentioned above, you have enriched my art world more than I can express. I love reading your blog and your sister’s too! Just like you, I’m tucked safely and warmly up here in Portland and am content to putter and enjoy the day!
