Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.
Thanks for sharing your “kids.” It always bring a smile to my face to see their imagination at work, and I LOVE that you inspire them to do art.
I always loves seeing what you inspire in your craft monkey’s and every time I find something worth smiling over. Sweet, simple pleasure!!!!!
Love it, I did the same thing with my 2nd grade grandchild. She worked on her book for most of the day. She was so free as she cut up her pictures and painted, stapled and taped. sure wish you were her teacher.
What a great job they did on their journals, very impressed!
I’m very worried as to what my 15 year old sophomores have been up to DURING vacation….actually, I don’t really wanna know come to think of it. Ignorance is bliss.
i KNOW there would be a market for a real life, hold in your hand and turn the pages book on art journaling with kids. I tole you I tole you.
Cool! Tell me please how you made those with the kids? Are they journals or scrapbooks? Are they wallpaper samples stapled together? Love them!
love love love the way you shape those beautifully creative minds & hands! thank you much mary ann 😉
hi mary ann! happy new year to you!
i was just recently inspired to write this http://francescadileo.blogspot.com , starting with the prompt, ‘i come from…’
i think perhaps this may be a fun exercise to do with your little craft monkeys as part of their journal making. take a look at these examples from other 2nd and 3rd graders at http://www.writingfix.com/classroom_tools/Art_Writing/IComeFrom1.htm
just something i thought you may appreciate…
hugs
