I fell in love with Greece after reading The Moon Spinners as a girl. When I was old enough to travel alone, the political scene blew up and I had to put it on hold. Then came career, family, life…..It’s STILL on my A list.

I never gave any thought to the similarity of the Turkish and Greek islands. It’s no wonder there has been such a history between them. That seems to be the case in so many similar regions; Likeness breeding conflict – doesn’t make sense on paper, does it?
