White daisies & chrysanthemums from the market.
Another wood panel hanging on the wall.
More rain arriving on Saturday.
I awoke last night to moonlight streaming through the window and down onto my bed.
I don't want winter to end.
The highlight of my day: reading George's Marvelous Medicine aloud in our little classroom library with the lights off.

Winter in So Cal means rain, which we can’t get enough of, so I don’t want it to end either. My plants are doing so well with all the rain, I even have green on my bit of lawn. I am going to pull out my old sewing machine that I bought 15 years ago and never ever used, and start my first ROD journal after watchig some of ROD videos. Feeling a bit anxious with all the fabric choices, might have to have to mix a batch of pumpkin martinis!

I think you are certainly out numbered when it comes to wanting to keep winter. Maybe it is because you don’t have snow and ice where you live. It gets weary very quickly. Very unsafe you know. I really like your newest wood plaque you finished and hung on the wall. I adore school classes and children. I was a teachers aide for many years when my daughter was young. Now I volunteer whenever I am able to. What a wonderful teacher you must be for your students. Happy weekend vacation…

Blasphemy! From my point of view, Spring cannot come soon enough. I’d pack up Winter and send it to you if I could – truly I would. Fortunately, next week I’m headed for 7 days on a sailboat amongst the Grenadines Islands. Taking a ROD journal and hope to fill it with all manners of goodness.

very clean and crisp looking. I like how the color of the center of the flower is picked up as an R in the next image. I love the winter (in California) too; it can continue raining forever.

I’m with you on the winter thing….I want it to stay forever. Maybe it’s because I was born on the winter solstice…I’m a winter girl.

Your new work is wonderful and I love how you just took over that wall and put everything up.
I can’t wait to see the whole series fill that wall. Here in New England we are ready for winter
to end, although the full moon is glorious on snow. Night is day and day is night.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day! Would you like the rest of my winter – I don’t think I want anymore…

I have to tell you that my daughter has heard stories about you and loves the journals your students have made. She wants you to be her teacher! I have a feeling you are making the lives of some young people very happy…..

No, I don’t want winter to end, either. And it’s SO nice to know someone else feels the same way………I love the quiet. (I live in a tourist town) I love being able to sleep in (at least sometimes)
