Rainy Saturday here in LA. The bluebird of paradise just flew by my window. Really! Bright feathers settling briefly on the porch railing. Long enough to wink at me through the window.
I'm swinging back and forth between the wood panels and splashing around in the visual journal. This one is tiny compared to my usual behemoth. A nice change. Since I've been spending time with the wood panels my usual journaling methods have been suspended. Mostly it's a place to swish around the extra paint and glue down the scraps littering my work table. Exercising the play muscle. Good times.

my favorite color combinations! fabulous. Hey is that the photo of you and me on that rock that juts out into nothingness in Arkansas? the hike we took when we got lost and had to follow the power line hoping it would lead us back to civilization? the time that mom called the park service to report us missing but didn’t know where we were hiking?

BTW, are you missing a big order of snow? It was left here yesterday and I sure didn’t order it, so I was wondering…
