This glowing moth orchid is the first I’ve ever owned. All I do is water once a week and and stare at her and VOILA! I am rewarded with these ravishing white petals that last months.
This post is going to jump all over the place, so put your seatbelt on. Today is a John Coltrane sort of day. You know, start in the middle and move two directions at once. Or something like that. Today I doodled with my new silver metallic thread. And. It was fun. Period.
HEY! My little piece of LA was featured in the NY Times!!! Far Out! Good Night!!!
just tracking back over the past week to have a big eye candy fill of your adventures.. I ca practically SMELL the peaches from here..
The orchid is indeed gorgeous…and I am trying Patty’s Altered Book class~yipppeeeee!
I love how they call it the ‘new’ culture district. Come ON!

I love the orchid…I want one of those myself.
Great tidbit on your next class, looks like I may just see ya there!!!
I so agree with a shot of all the gear and post it on the blog…would be great for fun.

I DARE you to wear them ALL AT ONCE and post a photo on the blog!
flannel shorts, trucker hat, embroidered tube top, hiking boots, fake mustache, red funglasses.
i don’t wear all of those on the same day though.
i like to vary my getups. always staying one step ahead of the fashionistas.
Or do you have the shaggy beard and the trucker hat?
O boy, more online class temptation. Just what I don’t need.
Your neigborhood sounds great. Do you run around with skinny jeans, flannel shirts, converse tennis shoes, and spray can in hand?
Anyway, wish I lived there, then I could get all my Ross clothes altered and turned into wearable art!
I left right in the middle of reading your post to go put my name on the list for that class!! Thanks for sharing that little tidbit of information because otherwise I wouldn’t have known about that cool blog. Another to add to my growing list!
Love the orchid!!
well if a stint in the NYT isn’t too cool? What a groovy neighborhood you live in!!
