Specific scenes and characters from the visual journal. Man tosses photobooth photos into trash at Kinko's then exits stage left. I enter stage right and dig out. Hee Haw!
More doses of randomness: 2 mornings ago at an hour when humans shouldn't be awake my neighbor delivers a bag of hand-plucked tangelos. I answer the door with my baseball bat, then feel foolish.
At night my dreaming brain retraces the route of Gulliver's Travels and finds it to be good. Put that hint in your pocket and turn it over and over. Here is another:
The city is aerated and clean, of a glistening whiteness. It is an absolutely dazzling place.
-Virginia Woolf
And in 9 months, mas o menos, my sister and I are headed here. Do you know this place? Have you been?

If you see this in time, go check out Google’s header today (MLK day). Looks like something you might have made; you and your brilliant stencils.
Your destination has me puzzled. Scandinavian?

Count me in with the trash recyclers – my best so far is using a piece of fabric I found lying in the street as part of a priest’s chasuble. Hope you and the ponys will all be watching the history lesson on TV on Tuesday!

I am relieved that I’m not the only one grabbing things others think is trash. I love what you’ve done here! I’ve done similar things myself and am usually the one taking home bits of wrapping paper and the photos that don’t make it into an album. Of course, I have to remember the fine line between recycling and hoarding. There is a line, right?
Previews of your next adventure look very enticing. I will guess somewhere in Greece.

It looks a lot like my idea of Lisbon: those red tiled roofs and the tram. Bet you can’t wait for 9 whole months to pass.
Have you seen that gorgeous film Amelie Poulain? The whole story is built around mysterious discarded photo booth pictures. Paris, all green and red (and slightly unreal).

What a sweet neighbor.
I imagine your dreams are wonderful places to be.
And I’m not sure where the city is but I’m sure to enjoy traveling there through your journal pages to come. It looks beautiful.

looks venetian, but what do I know? it could be Milpitas.
YOU ARE A LUCKY GIRL!!!

My guess – portugal????

The red roofs make me think Italy. Is this Florence ?
And yet, I’m a great Prague-lover and Prague teems with beautiful little alleyways like the one you show.
Still, I’m going to guess Florence.

Yay for Kinko’s and profound timing – Score!
Place looks Mediterranean. How wonderful that you and sis are such good companions (I’m a bit envious).
Another adventure for Mama Moss’ girls.
