This week an embarrassment of riches (thanks Gwen I love that line) came to me in the form of gifts from generous and kind people I've never met. First, my very own dvd of Nevada Smith starring a young Steve McQueen, which was filmed in Owens Valley. Next came 2, full cd ITunes downloads of Horatio's Drive audiobook and music cd for my upcoming roadtrip to Mendocino. Out.Of.The.Blue. Thank you S. & S.

Can I just say that visiting your blog is like taking a vacation??!!!??? Such a treat it is to see the sights you capture so beautifully! I’m in love with the fence picture and a tart is on the menu for tonight’s supper. Heaven! How I would love to be a fly on the wall in your space….or better yet, on the fuzzy dice hanging from your rear view mirror…to be able to journey with you would be a pleasure, to be sure! 🙂

The tart is inspiring variations on what I have – frozen pie crust dough, a plethora of greens (beet, radish, bok choy, spinach) from this week’s CSA box. Hmm, what can I do and will it be good for lunch tomorrow also?
