By the time this posts to the blog I'll be having dinner on the plaza in Kansas City, Missouri with Mama Moss and Sister.
This is the first of many excellent adventures of my long and luxurious vacation. The rest will be taking place in new and undiscovered parts of California. I have a pocketful of treasure maps, a tankful of gas, a camera, journal, and a magnificently active imagination. Who knows what I'll find along the way.
When I'm not on the road I'll be home making more postcards.

The Plaza in KCMO ?!?!? Ahhh
I would love to see my old home again!
And it’s just as humid here in California, anyway.
Hope you’ve had a great time!

Oh, that fertile brain of yours. The postcards are killer. I don’t know which side to stare at. Will have to stand it up by a mirror. You are the best. (bowing before your awesomeness once again)

You win the Oscar for Best MailArt-idge.
Get on your gown or tux. Get over by the mirror so that I can put on your makeup.
Here. Wear these Harry Winston diamonds…we’ll spray paint them a bit so they’re not “too-too”…..can I be your date?

Loooooooove your postcards! Love the combination of photos with your stencils/spraying/stamping/etc!!!!!!!!
I had not been happy with what I did for a place to put addresses, the one or two times I’ve ventured into mail art — loooooove your variety of labels for that purpose!
My parents live in the KC area — I have been to the Plaza many many times. 🙂 Enjoy.

Have a fabulous trip! And I would really like to see some photos of you and and your mom throwing produce during the debate tomorrow. I’ve been sharing your comment with my family and we may do the same…see? You’ve started a trend! We’ll keep it real here on the hill while you’re gone.

I LOVE those treasure maps. And I hope you enjoy your time with your Mom and Sis. How is she by the way? I love the way you put the pics together on this one. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. It will be great I’m sure. Be safe.

I have never commented before, but just wanted to say that I have such a crush on your blog! It is just so essential to the overall artsy ending to my day. Wow……maybe I should not have left L.A. in the early 60’s…..but damn, it’s hard to make a living as a five year old so I guess I was right to follow my folks to Kansas. Have a great vacation! I just am so enamored with your style….must quit commenting before I start to sound like a stalker 🙂

wowie zowie those are SOME cards!
They are so distinctly you and so original. I am inspired again. The variety of labels adds a lot; did you print them yourself or simply collect from assorted stores and shores? There are some really nice papers in there too. yummmy
