Ordinary photos today. Of plants that caught my eye in the late afternoon light.
Of cats stretching out on the porch rail.
And a dusty old mailbox I never bother to clean. Something special arrived in here today.
A freshly knit pair of socks that my sister made me!
Here we have a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. I ate it.
Maybe there were 2. I can’t remember.
Your kitty looks so much like mine, even down to the hairy feet! And my boy’s favorite spot is also a porch sill in the afternoon sun:

THAT’S your neighborhood?! No wonder you’re a creative genius… 😉 (Seriously, that is MY kind of neighborhood.)
That cupcake looks too fancy!
One, two…hand knit warm socks, a sweet cat lying warm in the sun, a slice of heaven on earth….your post is a delight even to those who have not lived it…..

The flowers are stunning, love your mailbox and Mmm cupcakes!
Warm socks and a cupcake or two with peanut butter frosting is heaven on earth.
Such wonderful pictures you have here .
Love your art as well.
The ordinary in golden light makes for the most interesting photographs (in my humble opinion) I think I see a photographer emerging…!! Keep exploring with your camera and experimenting with your digital darkroom. There is so much to create and capture! These images you have been posting are interesting and quite lovely in their own special way. I think you would enjoy the work of Keith Carter (I own all of his books).

m.a. The socks are what I want! They look so warm, and the colors are just perfect.
Is that a hibiscus flower? Beautiful.
Look, there’s only one cupcake in the photo! So it’s documented… there was only ever ONE cupcake!
YUM!!! That cupcake is such food porn ;o) Your food pics always make huuunnngggrrryyyy! And the art is pretty awesome too.
p.s. please send more rain our way – we really liked what you sent last weekend!
