A warm Thursday evening in Los Angeles. My trees are thirsty. I’m watering them. In between hikes back and forth up the hill I come here to upload another photo. There is lots to see today.
Here we have the other mailart dispatch that arrived at Debra’s homestead, also in Texas.
My own mailbox was gifted with this tiny splendor from my sister. I love her doodles all around the tape…among other things. I am less fond of the photo of me with a headache and my hair smashed against my head after a long winter’s nap. My sister seems to think photographing me in a time of need is extremely funny. (mailart coming your way v. soon with you in tankini at La Gruta) I, however, put my vanity on the backburner in the service of mailart. I’m just like that.
Then there are more spectacular photos of KANSAS in all her glory captured on film for my pleasure by my sister Dottie. You might be interested to go check out the April issue of National Geographic which featured the Flint Hills on the front cover. The photo gallery from that feature is a thing of beauty. Go see that. You won’t be disappointed.
Finally here are some luxurious rolls of vintage wallpaper that I bought while in a trance state. I don’t know what I was thinking. The patterns in the paper hypnotized me and before I knew it my pocketbook was empty and I was standing there with armloads of wallpaper. It was an accident. Really.
I mean get a load of these photos. Did I really have a choice?
Stay tuned. Info on how to get your grubby mitts on your very own envelope of this stuff will be forthcoming. If I can stop staring at it long enough to start putting packs together that is….

OMG I WANT ONE TOO!!!!! I’m having withdrawals right now because I can’t see it while I’m typing this. I can almost smell the paper. (takes deep breath, sighs, cries a bit, gets a modicum of control and settles back to task at hand). Can’t wait to POSSESS my own special packet of wallpaper.
