Memorial Day. A day to remember. Next Saturday my dad will have been gone for … 6 years. I think. The thing is I don't remember if he died in 2000 or 2001. I'm sure the sisters will clear this mind fog all up for me. Anyway the fellow on the horse. That's him. Papa Moss. In that photo he's riding in the Brazilian countryside herding cattle. It's a long story how he got down there. Let's just say Papa Moss was an adventurer. And he trained working dogs to herd cattle. His best dog ever was Katie. I can still hear him hollering across a field, "Come by!" "Way to me!" "That'll do." and other such herding commands. And if I listen real hard I can hear the herd thundering towards me.
I'm loving my 4-foot table I have out back. It was a lovely day to spray. The weather is fine – warm sun and cool air. Breezes ruffling through the oak leaves in the back. A perfect day to live outside. I want to go camping so bad I'm ready to pitch my tent in the front yard. Maybe I will.
I've had several people inquire about my stencils. I got quite a few from Michaels, but I also won a few auctions on EBAY in the last couple of months. That large flourishing stencil in the last post was an EBAY find. I haven't checked, but I've heard Wal-mart has a good selection too. I'm pretty much set in the stencil department. I even got an entire pack of plastic to cut my own stencils if I want. So far I don't want.

you know i love your pages….need to lay down now…the slide show is a clever trick but itt is wigging me out because there is no pattern to the coming or going of the images. what really need to do is set up an album in the sidebar for all the pages you’ve posted here. you could also make an album for all the profile photos you use….and maybe add in some new ones.

Hey, Mary Ann!
I ditto all of the comments. Your blog is, hands down, the absolute best! I spent a couple of hours catching up this morning; laughing, talking out loud to you, and honking (of course!).
I wonder: does your survival book say anything about rattlesnakes?
Keep up the great work!!!!

How does this blog keep getting better?
This is one of the anchors of my day: The NY Times and my favorite blogs. When I’m not gasping for air and being overwhelmed by envy, I’m just smiling like the Cheshire Cat.
YOU rock Dear Miz Moss.

For some reason I thought you knew Roben-Marie. I LOVE HER! LOVE HER! Her art is in Journal Revolution, too.
You are right, today was the most perfect day to be outside.
