THINGS I’M SAYING YES TO:
late afternoon naps that turn into evening.
spinach pineapple mint cucumber juice.
early morning. doing dishes in front of the window.
a twirl of fuchsite genuine squeezed into my palette (that pale shimmery green one!)
getting packed early for once
downloading the uber app to use for my trip to LAX for the Very First Time!
drawing a map into my travel journal.
Safe and Happy Travels Mary Ann – Love your packing illustrations and impressed with your light load…but I am concerned that you need a sweater or a shawl for those cool nights. It won’t be cosy snuggled in your room in a wind breaker…just sayin’
Are you still mixing glycerin with your watercolors for the paintbox or not? I’m getting ready to update mine as I prep for a trip and am just curious.
no i never have mixed my watercolors with anything. they’re perfect straight outta the tube!
LOVE your travel clothjournal s sketches! Safe and happy travels.
Mary Ann, …enjoy! Lots to see and do in Bavaria. We were there a few years ago and I look forward to your pictorial travelogue in a future post.
Awww I miss your wonderful illustrations of real life! No person illustrates quite like you….there is such life in the things you put your mind to!! I need to go blogging once again…I love blogs!
Have fun and safe travels! You are so organized and I love your packing list/illustration!
Oooh, I love this! You must let us know about the travel pillow. I have yet to find one that works.
I noticed you have Hoka sneakers. I tried them out but ended up liking a pair of Brooks Glycerin instead. They saved my life in England. I also have little slippers called FitKicks for the plane and the hotel room.
It was so warm in London I SWEATED a lot and had to ask my landlady/hostess in Lewes to please wash three items of clothing for me so I could at least go home smelling halfway decent. Also handwashed undies, socks and a 3/4 sleeve T-shirt.
Maybe next time I’ll try an air bnb in London.
So much lovely planning and anticipation! Someday, I wish we could travel someplace together. Wishing you and your sister a wonderful trip!
Great post! Great plans for great trip. Have fun!
Loving seeing your illustrated suitcase packing. My last trip to Italy my bag was 21 pounds also. Packing light is good! Can’t wait to see your photos of your stay in Bavaria!
Have a wunderbah ??? time! You look super organised!
You can download Google app for the city and use it without wifi or data charges!
Yay! Have a great time. Looks like you’re packed perfectly. Don’t forget your earbuds, charger, and toothbrush! And if I can figure out Uber then so can you 🙂
Wishing you a fantastic time and safe travels. Can’t wait to ‘hear’ all about your fun trip. I lived in a small village in Germany for two years. It’s a wonderful place and the people are lovely. Great food too! It’s going to be epic.
Have a fantastic time! I love going on these trips via your posts. I shall get my armchair ready for this new adventure.
Glad to see you packet swimsuit and sunhat 🙂
Oh god – you are going to have so much fun! I am interested in which Baby Binocs you use. We have decided we are not going anywhere anymore without binoculars. We haven’t found a good one that is small.
I’m impressed with the small amount of art stuff and journaling stuff you have…
HAVE A GREAT TIME – WRITE TO US ABOUT IT!
