i’ve been a veritable social butterfly. and have enjoyed every minute.
syd, mary, joyce, sharron, & pam. the usual suspects. plus jill popped by over her lunch break and put us all to shame with her incredible inky portraits.
most sunrises i walk alone. the water is pale and the shoreline is misty.
this afternoon after pam headed back to LA i took a long nap then went back to the beach in time for sundown. then off to pierre lafond for takeout. if you go, try a peanut butter chocolate square.
i’ve gotten used to using my iphone for nearly all of my blog pics. it’s just easier, but the photo quality is not always good. but good enough.
i finished season 2 of happy valley.

i’ll share the link for my cottage rental when i get home. it’s affordable and in a great location. plus there’s the dark lane to trek down at night.
tomorrow i’m off to meet someone who lives nearby. can’t wait to see her gardens! take good care friends.

LOVE having ones coming in and becoming twos or threes then leaving then changing it up again. It’s very fun and not like social media at all.
I guess it’s adding to, rather than subtracting. It makes places out of the ordinary more extraordinary!

All of your pictures bring back so many memories!! I do remember the kelp beds there being so amazing. Are you finding many treasures on the beach? So nice not to see oil blobs on the beach!! Love your sunset with sandpiper pics!! I do adore traveling with you. Thank you so much!!

i am talking to my husband about taking a month to visit LA! He is near retirement, has 6 weeks of paid vacation time and I have flexibility right now (that’s prob going to change when he retires since i am 8 years younger and will become the household supporter ;-(…oh well…that’s life)

Beautiful photos..if those are iphone photos, yes indeed, very very good enough. Love seeing your work station and all the lovely things that come from it. Here in Texas, we are in the middle of a strong thunder storm, keeping me awake in the wee hours. Drinking tea, feeling like I am in Montecito with you. Mmm…I’ll have the sea salt and the pomegranate chocolates!
