and there's real thunder & lightening
& giant raindrops pinging off my porch awning.
plus…
THE PATH bloomed!
also both heaters are on.
i'm diving under the covers to read and listen to the rain with the cat posse.

I’m so happy you got some rain there! We’re in a moderate drought in the Delaware Valley. I wish it would rain soon.
I so enjoyed when it was pouring hard yesterday. We don’t have a fireplace so I baked potatoes in the oven–made the house smell and feel a bit cozy. RAIN!!! Finally! Isn’t it marvelous??! So happy you have blooms!

In Malibu we got an inch in 20 mins! And HAIL! It was nutty!
Oh Mary Ann, I’m happy to hear it’s raining over Moss Cottage. YES!!!!! I bet you did an awesome rain dance before hopping into bed. 😉 and even if you didn’t, I know CA needs as much rain as it can get so I’m uber happy you are getting some. It rained all day here yesterday, and I love days like that, I hole up in my studio and can create for hours..nothing quite like the sound of rain and the rattle of thunder….it’s all good. And WOW ‘the path’ is such an amazing ‘show off’ I don’t think much can compete with that!!!! WOW!!!!!!

You and my daughter must be really happy to hear the rain. She often (well, not ‘often’ because it doesn’t rain ‘often’ in San Diego county….) calls to tell me that “water is falling from the sky.” I’ll probably get that call tomorrow morning.
