rain rain rain.
my morning drive on glittering streets.
eventually i made my way back to a drenched garden.
and a few minutes ago… honey colored clouds.
no fallen trees or hurricane force winds or mud slides up here on my little hill. just lots and lots of badly needed water.
as if that weren't enough, it's friday!
i think i'll go make a cup of tea. look out the windows. watch the wind in the dark trees. read a book.
from a wet los angeles to wherever you are. hello out there.

Glad to hear you and Moss cottage survived. We got the brunt of your storm up here in WA. Houses falling into the Pacific ocean, trees down.etc. I sit here and just wonder what the heck is going on. Two weeks ago we had 5 inches of snow with freezing temps, last week 65 degrees and there I was in my winter clothes and people around me in shirt sleeves and now back to cold temps and icy streets. What’s a girl suppose to do…! Actually it is exciting to get up each morning and try to figure out what to wear. LOL

There get to be times that I absolutely NEED to have rainy days, thunder & lightening, soggy air, and all those dreary bits in order to feel back to being myself. Sunny and bright is wonderful, for sure, but I have to have some dreary days here and there, too. I hope you’ve enjoyed yours.
Peace & Love,
Barb

Rain looks just lovely and glittery. We had flurries that melted on contact. A sign of things to come here in the East.

Happy to hear Moss cottage is firmly planted and has strong roots. Rain is good it’s just too bad it has to come all at once for you guys…reading a book on a rainy afternoon sounds perfect. Enjoy!!!

Hello back, just a little north of you. Love your pics of the rain. Pretty! It’s so great getting all these extra waterings of the yard with the 2 day a week rationing now. Perfect weather for tea, a book, and a warm quilt! Enjoy!

We had snow in NYC, on Wednesday, and, on my drive back to upstate NY it was a clear night without a drop of snow or rain. Love the photo of those honey colored clouds.

Cheering you with my hot cuppa tea from a soggy Sacramento… rain is tapering off so hopefully it will be nicer for a couple of days. Yes we all need the rain so I cannot complain… and it doesn’t seem like winter here without at least a little rain! Hope you have a nice last bit of school before the holidays! Take care!

Glad you are home and ok. The rain just left Las Vegas area and the sky is clear. I can sit on my couch, look out my patio door and see the planes taking off from McCarran. We received much needed rain here too, although not as bad as California. Enjoy your weekend. I am taking a resin class tomorrow so I know I will have fun.
