I have many fond memories of jaunts to Chinatown circa 1950s. How cool this and J’town are your new hoods. Have a wonderful weekend!
WOW. So cool. Love look backs. Recently I found a bunch of old pics on via google of the neighborhood I grew up in, basically what was our little main street, theater, bakery, hardware store, the kind with old plank floors, and full to brimming and we had a Rexal drug with a soda fountain. Thanks for the peeks. Enjoy your weekend. Heard you guys got some rain too. 🙂
Mary Ann, have you read “On Golden Mountain” by Lisa See? True story about her family, China Town and Pasadena. I think you would really like it.
Phwohhhar! Just fabulous. Happy weekend to you. xxxj
