Thanks for sharing the app Mary Ann. I had been looking for a while but just could not find it. You helped me out of my misery. Just now looking at a pigeon in the bird bath in the yard who thinks the temps are perfect on this day for a nice long shower.

Oooh I too must admit I love looking at the clouds I mean I could just stand there and stare and stare watching the cloud formations move, creating new changing patterns. When my kids were young and I had to pick them up from school I would go a little early just so that i could sit in my car and open the moon roof to watch the clouds. Sometimes during warm summer nights I go get dinner ready and sit outside to watch the night sky. Although I’d say the best night sky I’d ever seen was while I vacationed on Turtle Island in Fiji. The stars shined like diamonds in the blackest night sky.

COOLNESS!!!!! Hi My name is Susie and I’m a weather geek. There I said it. I admitted my addiction. Seriously, the first thing I do when I get up is to flip to the local weather channel to see what Ma has planned for the day, even tho all I have to do is look out the window to figure it out, step outside for a brief moment and I will be able to gauge what to wear. I’m also quite addicted to the solar system, stars have always held my imagination and oh lets not forget clouds. I love em in all their puffy glory, always changing and moving as they choose. I want to grow up and be a cloud. I could look at the sky all day and all night. I think this app is awesome.

WAH! I don’t have an iPad—YET! When the new one is released I’ll be getting one!
I am a weather fixated wacko…addicted to Storm Chasers on the Weather Channel. Fascinated and appalled by Mother Nature’s power. Not that I’d want to be a Storm Chaser–I’m too much a weenie for that…Tornado? I’d doo doo my drawers if I was caught in one. But I do love to watch others doing it.
I live in a place with extreme weather, that’s what prompted this fixation. Extreme heat, flash floods, extreme wind, can be extreme cold. The is the intermountain high Mojave desert for you. One winter the Arctic Express blew down from the north, temps dropped to 9 F, all 27 eucallyptus trees in my yard died! We had to have them all cut down…it was horrible.
So I’m glad you belong to my club of weather junksters–you’re way good company!

I was wondering about that. Last year I took 1 photo a day of the sky for the whole year! This would have been perfect to add to those shots. Oh well. Maybe another project one day.
