I like the black and white thick and thin lines with a spot of gray added in. I am going upstairs to paint squares and dashes and dots as soon as I finish this cup of coffee on the porch.

Your a born textile designer, your new career. Your also a tease killing us while we watch and wait for the class to begin. Keep cooking up ideas.

Good morning early bird. What a great way to start the day, full of bright cheery patterns by Mary Ann.
I think you would be a brilliant textile designer, Mary Ann. I can see the second image as wonderful curtain fabric.
I would be the first to order many yards for my sitting room. Matching cushions. Tablecloth. You name it.
Beautiful colors and patterns. You make me yearn for making art, but it’s not happening right now. There is a season for all things, and I guess this is the one for sweltering in the heat and watering plants for at least an hour at a time! But soon, very soon, I feel an urge for paint and color coming on…

Actually, I go for the tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole etc. Such a philistine I am…

Love em, colors and patterns living harmoniously together, that’s what it is, in all it’s simple and complex happiness. I’m totally diggin’ it.
