Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.
To think you weren’t quite brave enough to try the whole pig’s head! And wasn’t it cold?
Your sketches are so wonderful!
Love the drawings. I’ll have to drag out my watercolors and get back to painting. I miss it. The ham looks/smells delish! Just had a nice ham for Easter from Trader Joe’s…I was amazed that it was so salty as hams usually are, and that it was so much cheaper than Honey Baked and just as good, if not better.
When do you go to Norway?
I love seeing your wonderful sketches! Inspiring!
Ah, remembering Paris … I’ll begin making plans to go there in September … I’ll be revisiting all your blogs of that trip as a guide.
Jeanne,
This is a Nikon d-5100. I also have a Nikon d-90 body. I use the same lens on both and always take pics in automatic. Still havent learned much about manual settings! Lens info is in my sidebar…
Mary Ann, your photographs are always so clear and crisp. (I can almost smell that ham!) May I ask what kind of camera you use? I’m in the market for a new one. Also, your watercolor sketch of the silverware is great! It’s amazing what you can do with a little gray paint.

Whata ham!
Beautiful sketching, but you’ve made me hungry!
